Fans of The Battle Cats are sure to be glad that the recent pre-anniversary Mission Impawssible event is now finally set to wrap up. In it, fans made guesses based on which of the extensive cat cast they thought were the traitors responsible for postponing the upcoming Best of the Best anniversary event.
It turns out that, unsurprisingly, the one responsible was the canine nemesis The Doge. Fans who made their accusations, and correctly picked the Mohawk Cat that Doge was masquerading as will find that five new Rare Tickets have been dropped in their mailbox. But those who made incorrect guesses can still grab three of said tickets to soothe the loss.
Now, all fans have to do is jump into the upcoming 10th anniversary special event with Best of the Best. And those rare tickets will come in handy for fans who want to grab the new upcoming, super-special character Trixie that’ll debut as part of the event.
Impossible mission
Putting aside the slightly bizarre nature of The Battle Cats, which I’m sure is almost half the point, it’s nice to see an anniversary event split into multiple stages. The opportunity for fans to actually interact with the game rather than passively jump into an event is, I think, a more fitting reward for loyal players. Admittedly it still has that bizarre mid-2010s vibe to all of it, but for those who like that sort of thing, that’s the sort of thing they’ll like.
