- Delta Force: Hawk Ops is going worldwide!
- Garena are set to publish it in South America, Southeast Asia and even further afield
- It’ll release under the simple Delta Force title in those regions
Well, after more than a couple of months without much news, Delta Force: Hawk Ops has come out swinging. That’s because it’s just been announced that Garena will be bringing the game worldwide, with Southeast Asia, South America, Brazil, Taiwan and more to see it published under the Delta Force banner.
It’s a major move for the franchise, which some of the more venerable readers will remember playing when it first debuted on PC back in 1998. Famous for its depiction of real-life warfare, while Hawk Ops looks to be a bit more on the action movie side of things, it’s no less impressive for it.
Rather than pursuing a battle royale or deathmatch setup, Delta Force will debut with a Warfare mode that pits two teams of 32 players against each other. Of course, there’s also an extraction shooter mode for the fanatics of that genre, letting you team up with two other players to loot and shoot your way to the finish.

A new entry in the Delta Force saga is definitely appealing, although I’m sure there will be some sceptics (myself among them) as to how well it can embody a very grounded, tactical sort of game when it has to adhere to the trends of mobile. Still, graphically and technically it certainly looks impressive, so we’ll just have to see how it turns out when it does release, and I’m sure there are plenty of players worldwide who’re excited to be able to get their hands on it.
