If there’s one thing you have to give Devsisters’ Cookie Run: Kingdom, it’s that it has some surprisingly grandiose themes and additions for a game based around confectionary. Take the upcoming Wings of Eternity update for example, with plenty of gloriously over-over-the-top (over-decorated?) additions that have been teased recently. So let’s dig into what they’ve shown off!
Of course, the biggest addition, and the one we have to address first, is the newest cookie. In case you thought I was exaggerating, a single glance at the upcoming return of Golden Cheese Cookie should show just how crazy Cookie Run: Kingdom can be. They arrive alongside episode 6 of the Beast-Yeast as well as a new town square event, icings, and difficulties.
But wait! I was wrong, it’s not just Golden Cheese Cookie that’s making a return, it’s Immortal Golden Cheese Cookie. That’s alongside the equally grandiose Smoked Cheese Cookie. All arriving in just a few days with the latest update set to arrive on October 30th.
Baked to perfection
It still surprises me how Cookie Run: Kingdom apparently has lore so complex the only possible comparison would be something like the Horus Heresy. Still, I’ve seen plenty of people excited about these new cookie appearances, and with all the gold and glitz that you would expect from limited-time characters, I’m sure they’ll be pleased with these appearances.
