News Netflix’s Territory Cast and Characters

Territory, or should we say the Australian version of Yellowstone, is finally available to stream on Netflix. The trailer of the show grabbed the attention of several people, and rightfully so. The acting, cinematography, and, of course, the music will make you want to stream the show right now. But before jumping onto the show, you might want to learn a bit about the characters and cast who plays them on the screen. Well, we are here to answer just that. Below, we have enlisted the Territory cast and characters portrayed in the latest TV show on Netflix.

1. Anna Torv as Emily Lawson

Emily Lawson is the daughter-in-law of Colin Lawson and the wife of Graham. She is highly ambitious and a clever-witted woman compared to her husband. However, despite being one of the brilliant minds in the family, Colin doesn’t trust her with the business. That’s because Colin believes that since she comes from a family not as influential as the Lawsons, she wouldn’t be able to understand what running a vast empire looks like.

Anna Torv is an Australian actress who has won several accolades for contributing highly to the industry. Some of her most recognizable appearances were in the sci-fi series Fringe, the post-apocalyptic show The Last of Us, and the ABC drama series The Newsreader.

2. Robert Taylor as Colin Lawson

Colin Lawson was the one to pass down the leadership of the cattle farm to his son, Daniel. However, we don’t see him doing that in the series. He is one such father that no kid deserves. He had two sons, whom he taught to fight each other since childhood in order to make them strong. On the other hand, he abused Graham to the extent that he lost all his self-esteem and didn’t know how to stand up for himself.

Robert John Taylor is an Australian actor who has appeared in several television shows and movies since 1988. These include We Are Still Here, NCIS: Origins, and more.

3. Michael Dorman as Graham Lawson

Graham Lawson is the elder son of Colin Lawson, who never treated him well because of his sensitive personality. This also became a reason why the leadership of the station was passed to Daniel and not Graham. He grew up in an abusive environment that eventually traumatized him and pushed him towards alcohol in adulthood.

Michael Dorman is a New Zealand-based actor who is widely recognized for his roles in the sci-fi series For All Mankind, film Suburban Mayhem, and more.

4. Sam Corlett as Marshall Lawson

In the series, we see that Lawsons stay together, not for the love of their family, but for the wealth that comes with that name. However, Marshall doesn’t care about that initially. He went rogue and stayed away from the farm for years, but he had to get back and face his family at his uncle’s funeral. Marshall intended to go away after paying his respects, but his family ties stopped him from leaving. Now, he’s also caught up in all the mess to acquire the biggest cattle farm in the country.

Marshall is portrayed by Sam Corlett in the Territory cast. You might not have seen him because the actor has only appeared in a couple of shows. However, he has made a name for himself by portraying the lead role of Leif Erikson in Netflix’s Vikings: Valhalla.

5. Philippa Northeast as Susie Lawson

If the Lawsons are vultures circling to grab the biggest piece, then Susie Lawson is the cutest vulture in the group. The college dropout granddaughter is back on the farm not to get pampered but to take her rightful place in the family. The trailer didn’t give Susie much spotlight, but she does play a crucial role in the show.

Philippa Northeast does a beautiful job with character, and we expected nothing less. The Australian actress has a diverse portfolio. From working in a soap opera (Home and Away), the actress went on to appear in TV shows and movies like The Newsreader, In Limbo, and Standing Up for Sunny.

Besides the main Territory cast, some supporting cast/characters have also played a significant role in the show and helped it get positive reviews. Below, supporting cast members of Territory:

  • Clarence Ryan as Nolan Brannock
  • Jay Ryan as Campbell Miller
  • Sara Wiseman as Sandra Kirby
  • Dan Wyllie as Hank Hodge
